Welcome!

Hi! I'm Pearl Cruz, Welcome to my Site!

I personally do the invitations for my kids' birthday parties, and also for the kids of some of my friends and relatives. I've decided to build a website because through the years i have accumulated enough ideas to come up with more designs, and I thought to myself, why not make a little business out of it?
So, here it is. Feel free to browse. And if you don't have a special occasion in your family right now, bookmark my site, and come back later. And best of all, feel free to forward it to your friends and relatives. You will not only see my designs here but also some tips and ideas for your parties. I will also share with you some of my experiences in arranging parties for my kids.

For the sample layouts, just click on the Party Themes on the sidebar on your right.

Thank you and i hope you'll enjoy your stay.

Faye's 7th Birthday

My youngest daughter had recently celebrated her 7th birthday. I wanted to have a debut-type of celebration, with cotillion for the kids -- just like what we had during her older sister's 7th birthday --- but she didn't like that. She didn't want to be the center of attention, and actually, if she had her way, she wanted to celebrate her 7th birthday with just the immediate members of our family.

So, we compromised, i
asked her what kind of celebration she wanted. She said she wanted it to be done in a resort -- with a swimming pool, because she really LOVES water! Once she's in the pool, nobody can pull her out of it.

So, we set a budget, and scouted for a venue. Then, I got busy tying up everything to go with the Luau Party theme. I began to shop for the materials for the invites, giveaways and decorations for the resort.

It was FUN really! Most especially, we had a blast putting together the invites.

If you like to have this kind of invite, just let me know. This goes well with the Luau Party Theme. It has a little umbrella, colored sand, the invite itself, and some shells.

This is the invitation inside the bottle. If you want to have a Luau Party Theme, you might want to have this layout, with some revisions if you like.

For her party giveaways, I had a hard time thinking of anything that will go with the theme, so, i just made magnets with her picture, i also decorated it with beads of assorted shapes and colors. My husband also made a few mugs with her photo, as additional giveaways.

But, i think the best thing that she liked about the preparations that i had done for her party was the store-bought scrapbook album which i've made into a Memory Book for her. I printed scrapbook layouts and put them inside the album and I asked her guests to write something for her -- some advice for the future, prayers for her to live by. I've also put there all the letters that she received from her Godparents and relatives during her first birthday. I knew she liked it very much because, she was still reading it over and over even days after her party.

Disney Princesses

Did you know the history of how the group of Disney Princesses was formed? According to Wikipedia:

In early 2000, when Andy Mooney was hired by the Disney consumer- products division to help combat dropping sales, the idea for the Disney Princess franchise was born. Soon after joining Disney, Mooney attended his first “Disney on Ice” show. While waiting in line, he found himself surrounded by young girls dressed as princesses. “They weren’t even Disney products. They were generic princess products,” he mused. Soon after realizing the demand, the Disney Princess line was formed.

Little girls love Disney Princesses because they are all fascinated with the lives of the princesses. They also imagine themselves to be the characters behind those disney characters. I've made quite a few designs catering to these princesses and i hope you'll like them.

Thomas the Tank Engine

Thomas is a fictional anthropomorphic tank locomotive created by the Rev. W. V. Awdry in his Railway Series books, made into the British children's television series Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends and its American spinoff Shining Time Station.

Dora the Explorer

A lot of little girls love Dora. She's so adorable and cute, and kids get to learn a lot of things just by watching her on TV, because Dora encourages kids to "be" in the show by asking questions or getting the kids' opinions on some things.

7th Birthday

7th birthday party is so much fun because you can now involve your child in the preparations for her party. Ask your child the theme that she wants for the party and start from there. Come up with ideas by searching the Web together with your child.

Let your child feel that it's really her party. Get her involved in everything!

This is also the best time to teach a little about budgeting. Explain to her that you cannot give to her everything that she wants, but you'll make sure that she will enjoy every minute of her party.

Most of all, enjoy the bonding time with your child!

Disney Cars

Cars is an animated feature film produced by Pixar Animation Studios, presented by Walt Disney Pictures, and distributed by Buena Vista Pictures Distribution.

Its main character is Lightning McQueen #95, typically referred to by his surname McQueen, and occasionally called "Stickers". He is a generic racing car from the 2000s. In the beginning of the film, Lightning McQueen, a racing rookie, is an arrogant, talkative car who is very selfish, especially towards his pit crew. He hopes to be the first rookie to win the Piston Cup race and gain a lucrative endorsement deal from Dinoco in the final race of the season, but finishes in a three-way tie with perennial runner-up Chick Hicks and veteran Strip "The King" Weathers after losing his huge lead on the final lap (#400) because of two blown tires.

Justice League

The Justice League is sometimes called the Justice League of America or JLA for short.

It is a fictional DC Universe superhero team. Its line-up includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman and the Martian Manhunter. Others are the Green Arrow, the Atom, Hawkman, Black Canary, Captain Marvel and Plastic Man.
